Separable Air Duct
For Transportation Vehicles

A connecting air duct that maintains a flexible connection between the vehicle frame mounted hot/cold air generation unit and the compartment during normal operations as shown in Figures 1, 2 and 3, that separates as shown in Figures 4, 5 and 6 by means of high force conditions from for example in the event of a high-speed collision that will further enable function of a tethered separable occupational compartment to minimize manufacturing cost with maximized passenger safety.
