The HOBO PRO for Onset Computer Corporation was designed to fit a need for an economical solution to enclose electronics for indoor and outdoor applications in industrial and scientific environments. This Design exceeded it's environmental requirements and intended usage by Onset Computer Corporation and passed independent tests for water proof submersion to over 200 feet of pressure depth and further remained intact to almost 1,000 pounds per inch of external pressure. Although these electronic products are not intended for such a high-pressure environment, this enclosure's durability may lead to such applications for additional products in the future.
