The StowAway Tidbit XT for Onset Computer Corporation was first manufactured with a machine cut enclosure that had a glued on end cap. This process and the enclosure proved to be problematic and expensive to produce in large quantities.

DEVCO Design & Development with the cooperation of Don Collasius, Mechanical Engineering Manager of Onset Computer Corporation, was able to design a new one piece molded enclosure for the Tidbit XT and was also able to design in the innovative use of the mold base for additional new product enclosures.

The Tidbit Coupler was another innovative design by DEVCO for Onset Computer Corporation. It was not only designed to meet the immediate needs of the two new products, the Tidbit and Tidbit XT, it was designed to be easily modifiable for additional new products. It also incorporated a decrease in manufacturing costs by using a snap in magnet holder, designed to eliminate its glue in process.

Onset Computer Corporation has been in business for over fifteen years as a Manufacture of Low Cost Data Loggers for Industry, Science Research as well used by NASA. Onset's Owner Founder, Lon Hocker is very impressed with DEVCO's Design abilities.
