The Molding Machine Designs for DT Sencorp, Inc in Hyannis Massachusetts began as a short term three to six month assignment for Drafting Support responsibilities but soon grew to Manufacturing Engineering Support for almost two years.

DT Sencorp, Inc had been producing thermoforming and extrusion molding machines and complete manufacturing lines as a leading American Manufacture and needed some help from outside vendors to do some contractual drafting in support of engineering change orders that had been backing up. Once the Engineering Managers, in charge of manufacturing support, realized that David DeVeau owner and founder of DEVCO Design & Development, Corp. had valuable Design and Support abilities, they agreed to expand David's contract and responsibilities to include leading engineering as direct support for streamlining manufacturing and making design improvements to their existing product lines to include working for their Armac Machine Division that built custom product automated packaging machinery for their clients that manufactured tooth brushes and contact lenses for example.

David has said that this was a great experience and although DT Sencorp and Armac have changed ownership and since reduced their manufacturing abilities, this opportunity was an invaluable education in custom machine, automation and tooling design as well in many levels of manufacturing support. David was also responsible for a Standards Initiative that lead to simplification of their in-house processes from purchasing raw materials through welding and machining to assembly techniques and defining all levels of drafting support and engineering procedures.
