When Sonicron first asked DEVCO to document this industrial medical product and it's mold tooling, the comment was made that the tooling will require extra features like slides and be very complex because of the intricate snap closure features. DEVCO replied, will the client allow us to redesign the snap area, and if so, we have some proven innovations from our past experience that will keep your tooling conventionally simplified.

Sonicron had witnessed one such innovation first hand with the HOBO project for Onset Computer Corp, that they thought would never work at all, never mind work so well. So Sonicron put their reputation on the line and convinced the client to give David DeVeau the CEO of DEVCO a shot at a redesign of their new product's complex snap feature.

The new product design has since been approved. The tooling was built without any costly complexity and the results work perfectly. Proving once more that the engineered designs by DEVCO save time and money with truly proven innovative solutions and that there really is no substitute for product design experience.

Onset Computer Corp's

This enclosure design was requested to be weather tight for a new line of industrial and scientific instruments.

DEVCO produced a design from Onset's concept drawings and impressed their engineering and marketing staffs with another finely tuned product.

This enclosure was not only weather tight but exceeded all tests to with stand a long term submersion to over 200 feet and withstood external pressures of almost 1,000 pounds per square inch.

With successful results like this and from our past product designs it is no wonder that Onset and other companies continue to come back to DEVCO for our engineering support and complete development services.

JL REESE Enterprises, Inc.

This Unique Invention, by DR. John L. Reese of Gulf Breeze Florida, has already stirred very much interest from the medical community and the product is expected to save a substantial amount of lives by greatly improving the effectiveness in the use of the Endotracheal Tube.

We were very excited about this project, not just because it will save lives but because it is a disposable product and it has challenged our design abilities both as the Product Design Engineering Firm and as the Project Managers in support of our Development Group's Manufacturing Facilities to be extremely cost effective with parts and labor.

LIFELINE Systems

DT Sencorp of Hyannis Massachusetts had hired David DeVeau of DEVCO as an in-house vendor for design assistance with a custom ordered laboratory specialty line of equipment. As a result of David's experience enabling us to provide a design that went beyond their expectations and well within the allotted schedule, our contractual engineering services and responsibilities had been extended into other projects.

They have since initialized all the re-designs and new complete designs, from concept to production with field proven cost saving results of multi-millions in the fields of heavy machine and peripheral design and development for extrusion and thermoform molding equipment from April 1998 to March 2000 and also back in 1995 for an automated contact lens blister packaging machine.
